Weekend Adventures

Well, this was yet another crazy weekend. The video above is from tonight...Kyle and I went to the Pima County Fair to see.....BOYS II MEN! Omg. Best thing ever. They were just as fantastic as they were in the 90s. I kept looking at kyle and saying, "So freakin' good" and Kyle even at one point made me promise I'd play their famous duet with Mariah Carey at his funeral. We then shared a corn dog and diet coke, won a blue duck by popping some balloons with darts and called it a night. Seriously, one of the best dates I've been on in a while. <3 him.
And now for some snapshots of this weekend!
My cousin's soccer game and some yummy BBQ
PIZZA PARTY and NBA playoffs
New favorite wedges and tired eyes
My beautiful friends' wedding and the boy I can't wait to marry :)
Talk about a gorgeous ceremony! I had so much fun at the wedding and was SO glad I could be a part of Chyna and Eric's big day. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Moss!!

Today's wedding getup:
  • Lace Tank: F21
  • Long skirt: F21
  • Belt: Target
  • Wedges: UO
  • Bag: Aldo
Gearing up for what will be another craaaazy week. SUMMER WHERE ARE YOU?!

Tucson Tuesday

Isn't he handsome?! Even with a weird mustache haha.

Today I'm featuring what we ate for lunch which happens to be one of Tucson's greatest treasures. EEGEE's!! (pronounced E-G 's) This is truly one fast food restaurant that I will always enjoy. They sell subs, soft pretzels, AMAZING fries, and their main attraction, the Eegee. They have amazing house dressing and ranch. They even offer ranch fries, where they take their krinkle fries with their incredible ranch and bacon bits! The Eegee is quite hard to describe but I'd say it is a combo between a slushie and an icee. Their main flavors are strawberry, pina colada, and my favorite Lemon! Each month they feature a flavor of the month. April is Orange Dream. YUM. My most favorite flavor of the month is lime!
Photos courtesy of Emily since I forgot my camera today :(

Eegee's is an ideal treat in the Summer OR winter. It provides a satisfying meal and a soothing cold treat that never disappoints.

See you guys soon! <3
PS: sorry I always feature food as my Tucson Tues! Once summer gets here I'll have more free time to explore my lovely city.

Az Blogger Meetup Recap

Hello! Yesterday was a hectic day so I didn't have time to get a post up. I opened at the Bux at 5am, went home to get ready after work, and Emily and I took off for Phoenix for the Az Blogger Meetup. We cruised to Scottsdale fashion square for some little beforehand shopping and I picked up a cute cardi for the night.
  • Dress: Thrifted (one of my FAVORITE finds of all time)
  • Cardigan: H&M
  • Necklace: Antique from Kyle
  • Wedges: UO
Meeting all of the ladies was wonderful! They are all as beautiful and sweet as you would imagine. I really wish I had taken more pictures, but the restaurant [La Bocca] was dimly lit and photos were hard to get. The professional photographer took some pictures that will be uploaded in a couple of days, so I'll share those with you then!

I did win a raffle prize! A sweet goodie bag from Frances Vintage in Phoenix and their neighbor Smeeks candy!
Inside the goodie bag:
  • The little red box is full of taffy and delicious candy :)
  • A sweet smelling soap and a fantastic body butter!
  • An adorable pair of patterned earrings, perfect for spring!
Thank you to Danielle and all of the other lovely ladies for inviting me and putting this together. I had a great time and look forward to hanging with all of them again!

Also, thanks to Emily for being my road trip buddy/driver and being my date to the dinner :)

See you tomorrow <3

Tucson Tuesday

This T.T. took place early this morning because I had to take my sweet boyfriend to get an MRI (he hurt his knee playing basketball this week) so we decided to stop at our absolute favorite breakfast spot in AZ--The Good Egg!

Although it isn't exclusively a Tucson treat, I figured I'd share anyway. They have locations throughout Arizona and some random spots like San Diego (goes by a different name I think) and Kansas (?). The Good Egg has an amazing menu including lunch options!

My date:
My other date(s):

:(
Gimpy Kyle got the Oatmeal with Irish Oats and a bagel/english muffin hybrid on the side. We always share a pot of the "coffee of the day" which was Mexi-Cali today! I have NO idea what it was supposed to taste like but it was very yummy. My favorite flavor they serve is Pumpkin Spice...mmm! I usually get a healthy turkey/egg white scramble but I was craving bacon in a major way. I'd love to be a vegetarian and I did abstain from eating red meat for a year and half, but I could never imagine my life without the crispy saltiness of bacon.
CARB OVERLOAD and I enjoyed every last bite. I got egg whites to balance out my unhealthy choices -__-

Other delicious options they have:
  • GIANT pancakes-- the wheat with bananas is my favorite!
  • Spanish Omelete
  • Wildcat scramble (chorizo, beans, cheese, YUM)
I helped myself to my usual after-breakfast peppermint candy they always have :)

I can't get enough of The Good Egg! I hope, if you're ever in Az you stop by for breakfast. Give me a call and I'll be your date!

Have a wonderful Tuesday and don't forget to enter the Starbucks Giveaway!
