Tucson Tuesday 1st edition!

Today marks the 1st ever edition of Tucson Tuesday! Tucson, Arizona is a moderately sized, yet busy city filled with a very unique collection of local restaurants, museums, shops, and much much more! Each Tuesday I plan on sharing this "uniqueness" in hopes that someday you might come and enjoy this gem of a city I've grown up in and grown to love!

Today's edition features a local sushi restaurant near the University of Arizona campus. Sushi Cho offers all of the beloved rolls most others would offer. Their sushi bar allows customers to eat in a less formal setting, fully equipped with a flat screen (which my boyfriend appreciates as he is ADDICTED to ESPN).

Today I had a California roll and a spicy tuna roll. I kept it pretty mellow since it was only lunchtime and I didn't want to slip into a sushi coma before class. One thing i LOVE about this restaurant is the size of their rolls. They are perfectly bite size so you don't have to worry about hamster cheeks as you eat :).  They served us the usual miso soup and a small cup of edamame to enjoy as the chefs were preparing our rolls.

Our bill (for 2) was $20, which is considerably reasonable for sushi. I enjoy the low-key environment, the friendly staff, and the close vicinity in relation to campus, where I spend the majority of my time. Thanks for reading!
PS: I apologize for the quality of my photos. I have to take them with my Ipod until I can take plunge into the world of D-SLR!
